Letter Sending

• Send letters using Player CIDs via any blue Post Box found throughout the state. Mail can be checked at any post office in the state

• Reading a letter opens a fully immersive letter UI that displays the message as an actual letter on your screen.

• Unread vs Read indicators in mailboxes so you know what’s new at a glance.

• Letters can be deleted from your inbox to free up space.

• If a letter fails to send (wrong CID, error, etc.), your text is saved so you don’t need to retype it.

• Reply directly from a letter — the recipient CID is automatically pre-filled.

• Anonymous letter sending hides the sender’s name and CID for a higher cost.

• Mail delivery delay to add realism — letters won’t appear instantly and will deliver after a set period of time

• You can grab a physical copy of sent letters from your mailbox and store/view them in your inventory.

Advertisement Sending

Available to job bosses only through blue Post Boxes.

• Send either:

  • A written advertisement, or

  • A URL to an image ad

• Ads are sent statewide to all characters

• Cost is charged to the active society account, and the ad appears as being sent from that society.

• Advertisements appear in mailboxes as 📣 bullhorn icons instead of envelopes.

• Ads can be manually deleted or will auto-delete after 7 days.

Package Sending

• Added three package sizes: Small, Medium, and Large.

• Packages are sent by interacting with Post Office NPCs located at:

  • Roxwood Post Office

  • Sandy Strip Mall

  • GO Postal (North LS)

  • Postal Building (Paleto Bay)

  • GO Postal (Central LS)

• Packages can be sent to Player CIDs or PO Boxes.

• Each container has:

  • Illegal item blacklists

  • Realistic size-based limits

• Optional delivery notes can be included.

• Packages can be sent anonymously.

• If the CID is incorrect, all inputs are saved so you can retry easily.

• Each Post Office NPC appears on the map with a 📦 Post Office icon.

• Package retrieval clearly shows whether the delivery was:

  • Sent directly to you, or

  • Sent to one of your PO Boxes.

PO Boxes

• Players can purchase up to 3 PO Boxes at once.

• PO Boxes are assigned a random ID (format: SAPOXXXXX).

• Letters and packages can be sent directly to PO Boxes instead of sharing your CID.

• Packages sent to PO Boxes are collected through the standard package retrieval menu.

• PO Boxes can be deleted, which removes all associated mail.

• Players cannot send mail to their own PO Boxes.

Mail Theft

• Personal mailboxes around the state (houses, street boxes, etc.) can now be stolen from.

• Loot pool includes:

  • Junk mail

  • Letters addressed to random names

  • Valuable items (gift cards & rare finds)

• Certain items can be sold at the pawn shop.

• Cooldown per mailbox to prevent farming.

• Stealing mail can be stressful too!

General

• On player load-in, the server checks for:

  • Unread mail

  • Uncollected packages

• Players receive a reminder notification every 15 minutes until mail is read or packages are collected.
